There are 187,888 lakes in Finland larger than 500 square metres. Most are small, but there are 309 lakes or reservoirs larger than 10 km². Inspired by lakes and forest which cover a great part of Finland, I created printed textile that presents a scene of a boat floating on the lake.

One day, while walking in the park, I found the similarity of the shapes between fallen leaves and lakes. The patterns include silk-screen printed lakes based on fallen leaves and folded fabric boat. The fabrics were designed to transform pattern into a tactile material in order to capture the tranquil nature of Finland.
