Chlomography is a conceptual clock application that evokes feelings and mood of traveling. The name is a compound word of 'Chrono' and 'Lomography,' which are associated with time and analogue film photogrphy respectively.
Lomo LC-A an analogue and creative film photography movement created . To me, my 8 year-beloved camera Lomo, is the concept that naturally interacts with "travel" all the time and also deeply related to the concept, which is "time"; piled in layers. By connecting these 3 points, I made clock application that excites the emotion of traveler.
It gives time-based foreign greetings inside the circle and generates short video as the circle rotated and minimized as a thin line. As a reminder of travel, the familiar-looking pictogram and the image from the notice board at the airports were applied as menu icons and the page of information about this application, respectively.
A circle in the middle part that connected with camera's lens is a pivot of design. The analog hour hand and the digital minute displayed as figures harmonize unfamiliarly. Background images present colorful landscape with the lapse of time including sunrise, mid day, sunset, midnight and each mealtime. It gives time-based foreign greetings inside the circle and generates short video as the circle rotated and minimized as a thin line.
Users can change the style and color of the clock.
