Bite Me Not

Food experience, Package

MA course project tutored by a Spanish designer, Daniel Bembibre

2013

Bite me not is a food design project exploring the main theme – Race, stereotype, prejudice, fear, ignorance using food as the main visual tool. A bunch of skin-colored chocolate bars using various colours of chocolates that mean different races. After eating it, one can find something bothering in his/her mouth, that is ‘race’ which is both universal and prejudicial.

‘Do not bite me’, which is generally used to defend oneself’s actions, characteristics, or values following an accusation, means to respect each other. In addition, it is also literally a warning to eat the chocolate bar carefully.
