In collaboration with ELO film school students, these poster and ending credit were created to communicate the movie, Back to Business.
The main metaphor of the film is depression portrayed by Juha, a main character, and it describes the journey back to getting control of his life through a gun. The goal was to reveal something indirect yet clear, as Juha always hides the gun inside his jacket, able to convey graphically the main points – Juha, depression and the gun.
Using disassembled parts of a gun, I reconstructed the depressed face of the main character, reflecting that his ego is collapsed. A direct black and a bold yellow on the background refer to a mood of 1990’s and its dark humor.
